Easy Pancake Tuesday

Pancake Tuesday is always a favourite with the little ones and it's a great opportunity for them to get involved in the dinner prep.

One of the best things about pancakes is the variety of toppings! Think pizza party but with pancakes. You can make them sweet or savoury with just a few ingredients. You can also make the batter the night before and let the kids 'mix it' (again) so they feel involved. Below we've shared our favourite easy pancake recipe, now you just have to practise your flipping.

Easy Pancakes - Makes about 8-10 pancakes

Ingredients:

120g plain flour / gluten free flour
2 large egg
200ml milk
20g melted butter (optional)

Instructions:

Sieve the flour (the kids can help with this part)
Make a well, add your eggs and whisk
Add the remainder of your ingredients and whisk well

Topping Suggestions:

Nutella, banana / blueberries and crushed walnuts (optional) 
Strawberries and cream
Lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar
Maple syrup
Ice cream and pomegranate seeds
Apple, cream and cinnamon
